Classes For All Abilities

At LiftBridge CrossFit our goal is to make you healthier, happier and more capable. Our program is effective for all people. From those looking for a way to stay healthy as they age, to those that are looking for a major challenge. How do we reconcile these two ends of the spectrum? By recognizing that all people need to be able to perform certain movements / patterns of movements throughout life; think about squatting, hinging, running, jumping, pushing, pulling, carrying, etc. While these patterns are universal to all humans, the degree in which they are needed varies from person to person.

Our flagship program, essentially the nuts and bolts of what we do. Here’s how it works: each day of the week we program a workout of the day or “WOD.” Monday’s WOD is going to look entirely different than what we do on Tuesday and the same goes for the rest of the week. This feels random, but the intent is to mirror the unpredictability of life and prepare us for anything that comes our way. We know that not everyone is at the same point in their fitness journey so all movements can be adjusted to meet you exactly where you are at.

All classes begin with a workout explanation / movement demonstration, from there the class participants go through our specific warm-up protocols which lead into the WOD. Following the WOD we do supplementary work to ensure you appropriately cool-down and feel great before you leave.

Our program allows you to take ownership of your fitness as we program “Bias Days” which give you the opportunity to focus on strength work or on weight-loss / endurance activities based on your specific goals.

Youth Training

Using a combination of calisthenics, running, rowing, jumping, throwing, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting (the stuff we all used to call ‘play,’) we get kids to LOVE exercise. We use age-appropriate skills, challenges, and loads. We challenge kids in a fun and progressive way.

Our groups produce athletes, even youth athletes, that have a wide skillset; are excellent at everything without specializing at a particular sport; and enjoy movement for its own sake. In an inclusive atmosphere, workouts are ‘scaled’: kids and teens do challenges that are appropriate for their current level and age. They participate as a group of individuals. They learn trust, cohesion, self-accountability, and confidence.

Nutrition Coaching

To get the most out of your hard work in the gym, pairing it with nutrition coaching is the fastest road to success. Everyone can benefit from the knowledge of what it takes to appropriately fuel their body for their activity level.

At LBCF we offer a nutrition coaching program that can be geared toward performance increases or weight loss. Our nutrition program consists of the following tenants: 1) Macro based approach – this means we give you targets for protein, fat and carbohydrates; your goal is to eat within those targets. 2) Accountability – we require weekly check-ins, but are available on an as needed basis; this means if you need help during the week, reach out! 3) Reference points – during the check-in process we take measurements at the same location and time of day. 4) Feedback and adjustment – It is imperative that you document how you feel (energy levels, sleep changes, irritability, hunger, etc.) From the information we gather we will adjust your targets to ensure we are moving toward your goal.
